About the role: 

 

Join a global leader in B2B FinTech and be part of a collaborative team driving innovation in financial automation. With offices across Europe, North America, and Asia, Serrala delivers future-ready software solutions to clients worldwide.

 

As a Technical Support Specialist, you’ll provide essential support to our global customers, working with colleagues and partners to diagnose issues and ensure timely resolution. Strong communication and a proactive approach are key to success in this role.

 

Your Day to Day: 

  • Monitor on-premise customer solutions and provide first-line support via the Support Center.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and manage service tickets from creation to closure, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Determine billing status of tickets and maintain accurate documentation in the Support Knowledge Base.
  • Communicate ticket updates clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate reports and support documentation as needed.
  • Perform additional support-related tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Background in direct customer support roles.
  • Experience with B2B payments and accounts payable (AP) processing is preferred.
  • Ideally, basic understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • Proficient in SQL databases and query writing.
  • Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken (B2/ C1).

 

Nice to have skills:

  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or French.
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
  • Background in software/services pre-sales or business consulting roles.
