Location: Chicago Office or Remote, North America (US & Canada) - To support effective team collaboration and meet the role's demands, we are seeking candidates who are located in or can align their working hours with the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.

About the role: 

The Application Analyst will be an integral part of the Global Support Team, dedicated to providing exceptional technical and functional support for customers utilizing the SAP Autobank application. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and deliver enhancements while maintaining adherence to global support standards. A strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement is essential in this position.

Core duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: 

  • Daily Business: You will manage and address accounting-specific customer inquiries within the SAP environment. 
  • Customer Orientation: Your ability to understand customer issues and ask precise questions to gather essential information will be paramount. 
  • Teamwork: Collaborate closely with other departments, replicating and resolving issues within our SAP environment using master data, and proposing suitable solutions. 
  • Analytical Skills: Assist in optimizing our internal processes and meticulously document solutions for known issues. 
  • Problem Solving: Your unique combination of creativity and results-oriented work style will shine as you propose innovative solutions. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

What makes you excel in this position: 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: 

  • Educational Background: A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field is highly desirable. 
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of practical experience in accounting or finance-related roles, a solid understanding of SAP FI is a plus. 
  • Functional Knowledge: Understanding of key financial processes is required. Familiarity with autobank workflows, including cash management, payment processing, account reconciliation, and transaction matching is a plus. 
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with SAP customizing is a strong advantage. Experience with troubleshooting, configuring, and supporting financial or ERP applications is a plus. 
  • Personal Attributes: Independent thinker with a passion for sharing ideas and a commitment to continuous learning and development. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills paired with an enthusiastic and persuasive demeanor. 


Salary Range
United States: USD 45,000-55,000

Canada: CAD 60,000-75,000

 

The above annual base salary range represents a general guideline for the low and high end of the pay range for this position. However, the actual salary offered will be determined on various factors including but not limited to location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education, training as well as market and business considerations.
