About the team

As Junior Software Engineer you will become part of a team focused on payment solutions. RTP (Request to Pay) is a B2B2C platform leveraging the latest MS Azure cloud technologies. You will join an engineering team consisting of 10 software professionals, focusing on excellence through collaboration. What makes us special is the ownership over the software we’re developing, delivering, and maintaining. This means you will have the chance to practice in multiple development areas and grow your skills towards an established software engineer.

 

Team:

  • We are a cross-functional Scrum team of full-stack engineers
  • We build and maintain web applications, APIs and background processes
  • We use .NET technologies and code in C# for the backend
  • On the fronted we have Angular 15, ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web Forms
  • Data is stored in Azure SQL Server databases and Azure Storage Blobs, Files, Tables
  • Azure DevOps is our platform for integrating code into Git repositories and releasing it in Production every Sprint using pipelines.
  • Infrastructure is PaaS in MS Azure, using resources as app services, application insights, functions, and logic apps.
  • We are an end-to-end team, meaning that we develop, deliver and maintain the systems
  • It’s in our DNA to collaborate, share, learn, grow and support each other

 

 

Your profile:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and Angular
  • Experience with MS Azure and Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL queries
  • Strong written and verbal communication, problem solver skills, and be able to work well in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

  • Develop: In your position as Junior Software Engineer you will both continuously improve the capabilities of the existing software solutions and create new ones.
  • Team: We believe in teamwork, together you can accomplish more than on your own and we keep on learning from each other. You will be part of a cross-functional Scrum team, actively attend events and collaborate with fellow engineers.
  • Pro-active: You will act on application incidents and provide timely updates to the stakeholders.
  • Coding: Write codes according to best practices, ask and provide code reviews.
  • Setting objectives: Together with your manager you will set both personal and project objectives, then work towards achieving them.
  • Personal development: We believe it makes your job interesting if you are given the tools to keep on developing yourself. As junior software engineer you will benefit from a safe space to improve your skills and share them within your group.
