Your Day to Day: 

 

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for a global provider of cash and payment solutions (e.g. anti-corruption, financial compliance, supply chain compliance, anti-money laundering, as well as cross-functional areas such as tax & export compliance, IT compliance, and HR compliance; excluding data protection/privacy).
  • Support customer tenders (RFPs/RFQs), including the creation of an automated compliance Q&A catalogue.
  • Negotiate customer contracts, particularly regarding regulatory obligations.
  • Advise and support management and business departments on compliance-related matters, including the design of our payment automation solutions.
  • Independently identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks at Serrala, and develop and implement compliance policies and processes.
  • Deliver training and raise awareness among employees on various compliance topics.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews, particularly in connection with our existing and planned certifications (ISO, SOC 2).
  • Conduct the annual ESG assessment in line with shareholder requirements.

 

What makes you excel in this position: 

 

  • Degree in Law, Business Law, or a comparable field of study.
  • Relevant professional experience in compliance and working with various regulations, ideally in an international environment.
  • Initial expertise in compliance and a broad understanding of the relevant regulations and non-industry-specific regulatory requirements in the Netherlands, Germany and Europe.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of problem-solving orientation.
  • Hands-on mentality, independence, and a self-driven approach to finding solutions. 
  • Languages: Dutch (C2) and English (C1/C2); German skills (B2) are an advantage.
