Purpose: As CloudOps Engineer you are part of the CloudOps Team focusing on and ensuring a resilient and cost-effective infrastructure of almost 500 virtual machines for more than 150 customers.

Your Tasks:    

You will be responsible for IT Infrastructure operation, including OS, database, DR, cloud billing, reservations, and cloud consumption optimization for Azure, back-end systems and external sources.

• Teamwork: Support the developer engineering teams with infrastructure provisioning
• Problem Solving Skills: Solve complex cloud infrastructure and developer operations challenges
• Network Enablement: Enhance, monitor and manage networking components to provide strong and reliable networking, firewalls, intrusion detection and intrusion prevention tools.
• Manage Workload: Monitor and administer backups for and data resiliency to support both disaster recovery plan and business continuity plan. Ensure workloads are protected
• Incident Management: Provide problem management of infrastructure related incidents, escalated from our customer experience team
• Development: Develop and maintain documentation and enhance the knowledge management of client and internal systems and processes
• Cooperation: Support the Security Engineering Team with cyber defense tools to detect and remediate vulnerabilities, and ensure that the infrastructure is in line with the standards

Your profile:  

• Background: You have a degree in Computer Science or related field. An equivalent of the same in working experience would also work.   
• Experience: At least 3-5 years experience as CloudOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or System Administrator.
• Environment:  You thrive in a fast-paced environment where development is key.
• Tech-Stacks: As a CloudOps Engineer, you bring knowledge of Terraform or other type of IAC Tool and are familiar with Cloud Infrastructure concepts and services. You have experience with deployment and orchestration technologies: Chef & Jenkins and have a solid understanding of Windows and Linux.
• Plus: Practical working experience with cyber security best practices and open source server software are a plus. 
• Eye for detail: In this position it is important you have strong organizational skills and are detail-oriented.
• Personality: You have good communication skills and convince people of your ideas fluent in English? You are an ambitious self-starter, hungry and driven to learn? You work well under minimal supervision to complete projects and tasks on time? You have strong analytical skills and are willing to come up with new and innovative ideas and solutions? You are motivated and engaged in improving the team processes and technical knowledge to excellence? Perfect match! Great!
