Director Digital & Performance Marketing (m/f/d) 

 

Your tasks: 

  • The Big Picture: Together with your team, you lead the development of the Serrala Digital Marketing roadmap in close alignment with business objectives. You work closely with campaign, content, design and sales teams, bringing in a digital perspective to all our activities. You drive the adaptation of new digital marketing trends, foster a test and learn culture and spread digital knowledge across the company.   
  • Managing the Team:  You develop, empower, and lead the Digital Marketing team globally. On top, you select and oversee external agencies and freelancers in close alignment with your 2 team leads. You ensure that the team stays on top of trends and transfers knowledge to other teams. 
  • Paid Search and Social: You own the full-funnel paid marketing strategy across digital channels. Drive flawless execution of all lead acquisition, lead nurturing and brand awareness campaigns to meet KPIs. Identify new channels, trends, platforms, tools and systems to improve performance. 
  • Martech and Website: SEO, web personalization, web analytics, ongoing improvement of the website are also part of this role. Align Digital Content needs and prioritize the roadmap with key stakeholders. You manage and further develop the Martech stack, empowering the organization via automation of key processes.  
  • Number Expert: You analyze and scale what works.You are responsible for overseeing and allocating the Digital Marketing budget, setting and evaluating digital KPIs and aligning Marketing KPIs with the Controlling team. It is within your responsibility to ensure the best use of our Digital channels towards channel performance and customer journey.

 

Your profile:  

  • Proven Background: Bachelor’s degree plus at least 6-8 years of relevant experience 
  • Experienced Leader: Previous leadership experience, a proven track record of building and developing teams and working with external agencies and freelancers 
  • The right Pace: Previous experience in a fast-growing industry with a high velocity 
  • Connecting the Dots: Ability to translate business requirements into Digital Marketing strategies and tactics, and report against them with meaningful insights 
  • Analytical Driver: You have a "Numbers Don't Lie" mentality and use metrics to power performance and decision making 
  • Communications Skills: Outstanding presentation and communication skills and highly proficient in both spoken and written English - other languages are welcome.
  • Working mode: You are willing and used to working remotely. You do not need to be based in Hamburg, but will join us for working sessions in person on a need-to-have basis.
