To achiece this ambition, Serrala is currently looking to fill the following position, preferably at its headquarter in #Hamburg

 

Director M&A and Strategy (m/f/d) 

 

Your tasks:

  • Strategic thinking: You will take a leading role in defining Serrala’s corporate strategy to derive organic and inorganic growth paths to further accelerate global growth in a dynamic software market.
  • Deal sourcing: You identify potential M&A transaction that fit into Serrala’s growth strategy and proactively engage with founders & management teams of suitable acquisition targets.
  • Due diligence: In close collaboration with the wider Serrala organization as well as external parties, you will define and confirm value hypotheses,  assess potential acquisition targets and formulate M&A decisions.
  • Deal execution: You will engage across the various dimensions of an M&A deal including organizational & legal implications, contract negotiations and preparation of post-merger integration.
  • Sparring: You will be an active and strong discussion partner for the Management Board as well as the Supervisory Board of Serrala when it comes to M&A and Strategy and be involved in strategic decision making.

 

 

Your profile:

  • Convincing Background: You have a degree in Business (preferably at Master’s level) and 4-8 years’ of experience in M&A, private equity and/or management consulting.
  • M&A toolbox in place: You know what it takes to do an M&A deal from sourcing to execution and are able to handle the different stakeholders in such process.
  • Passion for M&A: You enjoy finance and M&A, but not only when it comes to numbers but especially from a strategic point of view, looking at how M&A can support strategy execution.
  • Entrepreneur: You have an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy understanding business models and organizations and are able to think strategically about corporate growth.
  • Project talent: You have the ability to structure and manage complex projects and processes with multiple stakeholders while utilizing your excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Networker: You can interact across multiple levels within the organization, are able to engage with founders / management teams and are able to convince them about joint ideas.
  • Hands-on mentality: Your work is service oriented and have the flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile.
