Director Marketing - Content & Communications (m/f/d) 

 

Your tasks:

  • Team Leader & Strategist: Be intimately familiar with Serrala’s clients’ business landscape, and marketing objectives to clearly define business problems and apply actionable insights. Build, organize, and lead teams through the creation of compelling content and communication initiatives. Lead content strategies and supporting messaging that raise CEO and executive profile to enhance reputation with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Content & Thought Leadership: Design & drive our global thought leadership agenda, by synthesizing input from various sources (industry, clients, associates, leaders). Serve as storyteller and editor-in-chief for all content to ensure quality, clarity, consistency, and alignment to business and reputational goals.
  • Corporate Communications: Build an overall communications strategy on strong and reliable content in both areas, internal and external to position Serrala's corporate strategy accordingly. Bring together individual pieces of content into one overall context and make sure dots are connected. Drive, suggest and create C-level positioning and communication
  • Employer Branding: Supervise and advice Serrala’s Employer Branding team on the development and execution of our EVP and employer branding strategy to increase global brand awareness and optimize employer branding activities. Success will be measured by consistency of messaging, positioning of Serrala, social media performance, and growth in the number of contributed media outcomes.
  • Analyst Relations (AR): Overseeing global strategy development, planning, and facilitation of external and internal AR communications. Strong alignment with executives, subject matter experts, and product teams to drive successful AR programs. Advice on analyst engagement plans that will strengthen and build relationships through briefings and other interactions, with core influential industry analyst companies.

 

Your profile:

  • Proven background: Advanced degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related area plus at least 6 - 8 years of work experience as Content and/or Communications Director or similar role. Previous experience in a fast-growing industry with a high velocity –experience in the FinTech industry is beneficial.
  • Project Principal: Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment and flexibility to changing situations and priorities. Understand and consider reputational impacts in planning; experience incorporating strategies that protect and build the brand’s reputation with multiple stakeholders.
  • Communication Pro: Outstanding presentation and communication skills and highly proficient in spoken and written English - other languages are welcome. Strong ability to communicate complex technological topics in an easy-to-understand and compelling way for various target groups.
  • Comprehensive Skill Set: Awareness of and proficiency with communications technologies and proactively stakeholder engagement. Clear and concise communication with team members and senior leadership. Strong and confident leadership and a proven track record of performance.
  • Working mode: You are willing and used to working remotely. You do not need to be based in Hamburg, but will join us for working sessions in person on a need-to-have basis.
