About the role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support and ensure a seamless, secure, and productive experience for our end-users. This role requires a strong background in endpoint management, network troubleshooting, and IT project collaboration. You will play a key part in maintaining high standards for IT services, managing cloud and security systems, and supporting our teams across platforms.

 

Your Day to Day: 

  • Endpoint Management: Manage endpoint devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro, ensuring that endpoints, AV equipment and cloud-based systems support optimal productivity for end-users.
  • Directory and Cloud Services Administration: Support and troubleshoot within Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft SharePoint environments.
  • Network and VPN Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network interruptions, VPN connections, and other connectivity concerns.
  • Ticketing and Documentation: Track and manage support tickets using Jira Service Management and create clear, accessible technical documentation and specifications in Confluence.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and routing.
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), ideally including Jira Service Management.
  • Strong understanding of M365 administration, Entra ID, and Intune.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT security systems and protocols, particularly Microsoft Defender and various monitoring tools.

 

What makes you excel in this position: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years in IT support or service delivery roles, with demonstrated expertise across multi-platform environments, ideally including both PC and Mac systems.
  • Proven ability to lead IT projects with knowledge of project management methodologies, workflows, and tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. German language skills are a significant advantage.
  • Strong collaborator who contributes actively to a supportive, solution-oriented team environment.
