Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Writer to join our Documentation Team. Should have hands-on experience in creating and maintaining user documentation for Serrala applications, including user guides, help content, and eLearning materials. The Technical Writer will work closely with a team of Technical writers and product teams to learn industry practices and contribute to real projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Author and update customer facing documentation under guidance.
• Learn and apply structured authoring concepts (DITA XML) and publishing workflows.
• Ability to work and adapt content management activities in a CCMS.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to gather information.
• Help create how-to videos and context-sensitive help content.
• Ensure adherence to Serrala style guidelines and branding standards.
Required Skills:
• Basic understanding of technical writing principles and tools.
• Familiarity with XML authoring tools (e.g., oXygen XML Editor) and CMS concepts.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and processes.
Nice to Have:
• Understanding of DITA concepts.
• Exposure to video creation tools and eLearning content development.
• Knowledge of fintech or enterprise software documentation. Work Arrangement:
• On-site presence is mandatory for 5 days a week as per company policy.
