Senior Sales Executive - UK & I (all genders) 

 

Location:  Remote within the UK

Contract: full time / indefinite

About the role: 

  

As an Account Executive, you will act as the CEO of your territory, responsible for winning new logos for Serrala. You will rely on your experience of selling to the CFO's office and a keen hunter's mindset to prospect, execute and close large enterprise software deals in both the commercial and public sectors. 

 

Your Day to Day: 

  • Hunting and farming: Proven background in prospecting, pipeline development and opportunity closing (i.e. selling initial deals into net new accounts). In addition, you understand that nurturing your clients is equally important to your success.
  • Exceptional drive: You are driven to succeed and are always looking to take your enterprise sales skills to the next level.
  • Strategic Thinking: You will engage with prospects and organisations to position Serrala and its solutions through value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references and analytical data. Working closely with your colleagues and leveraging existing networks and relationships is also seen as a strategic move!
  • Excellent communicator: You will have excellent communication, strategic selling and presentation skills to help you win new markets and customers.
  • Customer focused: You will work effectively with existing partners to drive business and ensure high levels of new customer satisfaction. You will coach customers through the sales cycle, understanding their pain points and providing the right solution.
  • Hands-on approach: You will coordinate customer demonstrations and proposal development, build business cases (what problem are we solving, differentiation, financial models), handle tenders/RFPs.

  

What makes you excel in this position: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years direct sales experience with an enterprise software company. Previous software sales experience specific to medium or large enterprise is mandatory.
  • Entrepreneurial hunger and drive to prospect relentlessly to uncover and qualify appropriate opportunities.
  • Proven ability to apply value propositions and differentiation to propose and position solutions to solve business problems.
  • Experience and confidence in speaking to both operational and senior levels of the Office of the CFO.
  • Ability to lead and orchestrate complex sales cycles, leveraging extended teams and partners as required.
  • Embraces the role of leader and coach while operating in a team selling environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • A self-starter who thrives in an unstructured, small team, start-up like environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, up to 30%.
