NA Tradeshow & Events Manager
Location: Chicago Office or Remote, North America (US & Canada) - To support effective team collaboration and meet the role's demands, we are seeking candidates who are located in or can align their working hours with the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.

About the role:
If you love planning events, keeping things organized, and making sure everything runs smoothly, this role is for you! As our NA Tradeshow and Events Manager, you'll be the mastermind behind our major tradeshows, regional events, and Customer Focus Group Meetings across North America. Working with an incredible team-including Marketing, Product Managers, Sales, and Communications-you'll make sure our events not only impress but also generate real business impact.

Your Day to Day:

Core duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Plan, manage, and execute regional tradeshows and events, ensuring they align with our business goals.
- Own the event project plan-budgets, agendas, and timelines-while making sure vendors and internal teams deliver on time and within budget.
- Be on-site to make sure everything runs smoothly, from setup to teardown (and everything in between).
- Work with internal teams to create engaging booth designs, displays, and branding that make a lasting impact.
- Negotiate contracts and build great relationships with vendors, venues, caterers, and AV teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage logistics like registration, travel, accommodations, and equipment setup to keep things stress-free.
- Keep a close eye on the budget, tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and ensuring all costs are accounted for.
- Analyze event effectiveness, including lead retrieval, follow-up, opportunity generation, and booth staff performance, and develop strategic action plans to improve quality, increase ROI and ensure events contribute to pipeline.
- Gather feedback and insights from stakeholders and provide recommendations to continuously improve our event experiences.
- Develop event marketing strategies to increase traffic booth, generate leads and drive engagement.
- Stay on top of industry trends and best practices to keep our events fresh and engaging.

What makes you excel in this position:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or associate degree with 5-7 years of work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in event planning, tradeshow management, or a similar role.
- Experience in SaaS based software industry, ideally in the financial software space.
- Strong organizational and project management skills-you love checklists and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (you'll be working with a lot of different teams and vendors).
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to last-minute changes without breaking a sweat.
- A talent for negotiating and managing vendor relationships.
- An eye for detail-whether it's budgeting, branding, or logistics, you make sure everything is on point.
- Experience with event marketing and lead generation strategies.
- Familiarity with Marketo, Salesforce, and Drupal (or a willingness to learn).
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- A flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening or weekend events.
Salary Range
United States: USD 75,000-85,000
Canada: CAD 105,000-120,000
The above annual base salary range represents a general guideline for the low and high end of the pay range for this position. However, the actual salary offered will be determined on various factors including but not limited to location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education, training as well as market and business considerations.
