European Event & Tradeshow Manager (all genders)
Serrala is seeking an events manager for the European region. As the European Event and Tradeshow Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing Serrala's presence at various industry events and tradeshows across Europe. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand visibility, pipeline generation, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and driving engagement through compelling event experiences. This role reports to the Director of Marketing Europe.
This individual must demonstrate event marketing experience, preferably in technology companies.
Your tasks:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive European event and tradeshow strategy aligned with Serrala's business goals.
- Identify and evaluate relevant industry events, tradeshows, and conferences, ensuring strategic alignment and maximum ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to define event objectives, messaging, and collateral.
- Manage end-to-end event logistics, including booth design, staffing, travel arrangements, and coordination of onsite activities.
- Create and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and reporting on cost-effectiveness.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with event organizers, partners, and vendors to optimize event opportunities.
- Drive pre-event and post-event marketing efforts to generate buzz, attract attendees, and facilitate post-event follow-up.
- Monitor event performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement, adapting strategies based on feedback and data.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure Serrala's events remain innovative and impactful.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in event management, preferably in a B2B tech/software environment.
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale European events and tradeshows.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and cultures.
- Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional attendee experiences.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe to support event activities.
- You are comfortable with flexible working policies, both office-based and remote.
- Preferred locations are close to our main offices: Barcelona or Hamburg.
- You are proficient in English and fluent in a second European language: German, French, or Dutch.
