Senior HR Generalist (all genders)

Location:  Norderstedt, Germany (hybrid: 2 days per week onsite, the rest in home office).

Contract: full time, indefinite.

Language(s): German (at least C1), English (at least B2).

About the role:

As HR Generalist, your primary focus will be on operational human resource management, supporting our employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Your role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement and optimizing our HR processes.

Your Day to Day: 

• Your focus will be on operational human resource management. You will support our employees through the entire employee lifecycle. You will ensure that our new Serralians feel welcome from day one.
• We focus on continuous improvement. As part of your role, you will drive the optimization and automation of manual processes.
• You will be processing the company pension scheme, working with various pension funds and preparing the payroll data for our external EMEA payroll partners.
• You will take on exciting projects that contribute to the success of the business. This includes the management of all kinds of HR transactions like onboarding, offboarding, time tracking, reporting, support in audit processes as well as interaction with the German Works Council.
• You will be part of a wonderful team with a strong emphasis on teamwork. We strongly believe that together we can achieve more than on our own.

What makes you excel in this position: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience as HR Generalist.
• Expertise in the preparation of payroll for external payroll partners.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, serving as a key liaison within the HR department.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English. As HR Generalist you work with and for people, so it is important that you enjoy communicating with many different stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
