Your day to day
Product & Business Ownership:
• Own the roadmap & commercial product strategy for UPP, aligned with Serrala's broader finance automation vision.
• Define and evolve value propositions for key payment use cases (e.g. AP, AR, BillPay, FX, fraud services, cards).
• Translate customer and market needs into clear product positioning and packaging.
Monetisation & Pricing:
• Drive Serrala's outbound payments monetisation strategy, including: Transaction-based services (fraud, validation, sanctions) and FX monetisation on cross-border payments
• Define pricing models, packaging, and commercial guardrails in collaboration with the SVP Payments.
• Build and maintain business cases and ROI narratives for executive and investor audiences.
Go-To-Market Leadership
• Lead GTM readiness for UPP-based offerings across EMEA and the US.
• Partner closely with Sales, Solution Architects, and Product Marketing to: Develop sales enablement material. Support strategic customer conversations. And Position UPP against competitors.
• Support lighthouse customers and early adopters to validate market fit.
Market & Partner Awareness
• Maintain strong awareness of payments trends in EMEA and the US, including: ACH, RTP, cards, and instant payments. PSP ecosystems (e.g. Dwolla, Stripe, TransferMate). Regulatory and commercial differences between regions.
• Contribute to partner strategy by identifying where Serrala creates value without becoming a regulated party.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with your PO's and collaborate with Engineering and Architecture to ensure business requirements are clearly prioritised and delivered, without owning technical design.
• Align with Managed Automation and Operations to ensure offerings are scalable, supportable, and commercially viable.
• Act as a bridge between strategy and execution, keeping focus on outcomes.
What makes you excel in this position:
• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, or Commercial Product roles.
• Strong background in payments, financial services, fintech, or B2B SaaS.
• Demonstrated experience owning monetisation, pricing, or GTM strategy for platform products.
• Exposure to US payments (ACH, cards, RTP) is required; hands-on experience is a strong plus.
• Commercially minded: comfortable discussing revenue, margins, attach rates, and growth scenarios.
• Strong communicator who can influence executives, sales teams, and partners.
• Customer-centric with the ability to translate complex payments concepts into simple business value.
• Strategic but pragmatic: focused on what drives adoption and revenue now, not theoretical perfection.
• Nice to Have: Experience working with ERP-adjacent products (e.g. SAP ecosystems). Prior exposure to CFO or Treasury buyer personas. Lastly Experience in multi-region product launches.
