Product Owner

You will work for us as a team/area product owner in a cross-functional team of product owners, software developers and testers who develop new cloud Credit Management and Debt Collection solutions. Your main focus is to maximize the value of the product resulting from work of the Development Teams. You are closely working together with the total system’s Product Owner located in our headquarters in Germany. You are locally responsible for managing the team’s Product Backlog. Product Backlog management includes:

 Clearly expressing Product Backlog items
 Ordering the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions
 Optimizing the value of the work the Development Teams perform
 Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next
 Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed

Your profile:

You have a financial or commercial background, ideally in Credit Management or Debt Collection, and have
experience as Product Owner for financial software solutions for 5+ years. In addition, you have:
 Business analysis skills
 Understanding of modern product design approaches
 Understanding of the application development life-cycle and related methodologies, especially lean
 Broad, general technical knowledge
 Excellent organizational and time management skills
 Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
 Experience in agile methodologies
 Recognized certification as Product Owner (e.g. Scrum Alliance CSPO)
 Very good people and communication skills
 Fluency in speaking and writing in English
