About the role:
As a Sr. Business Development Representative, you will drive net-new pipeline growth by identifying and engaging prospective customers, while also partnering closely with Marketing to convert marketing-qualified leads into sales opportunities. As an integral part of the US and Canada direct sales effort you’ll support the following support the: facilitation of team meetings and review of results (daily, weekly, monthly); coordination and sharing of best practices, strategies, & BDR tactics to deliver results; coordination of sales tools and related periodic team training; managing role play practice sessions; and ongoing support of team needs (daily, weekly, monthly). You will join an established team responsible for communicating Serrala’s products and/or services via telephone, email, social media, etc. to qualified prospects. BDRs are key members of campaign teams to build and establish relationships using creative approaches to enter into conversations with prospects.
This role represents a tremendous starting point toward a lucrative career in enterprise software sales. Serrala BDRs target senior-level finance, accounting, and IT decision-makers of Fortune 2000 organizations in the US and Canada across all industries and verticals. Top-performing BDRs with the right drive, hunger, and desire have the potential to exceed $100K (on-target earnings) annually. Note – this role is not an Account Executive and does not directly close deals.

What makes you excel in this position:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or minimum 6 years of experience in lead identification and lead generation.
- Strong outbound B2B business development skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of consistently meeting quotas and deadlines.
- Listening skills to recognize which leads can turn into sales.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesloft, Gong and Orum is preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Self-starter who will thrive in an unstructured, small team start-up-like environment.
Salary Range
United States: 64,000-80,000
Canada: CAD 85,000-108,000
The above annual base salary range represents a general guideline for the low and high end of the pay range for this position. However, the actual salary offered will be determined on various factors including but not limited to location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education, training as well as market and business considerations.
