Tasks and accountabilities
Endpoint Management (Jamf + Intune)
• Manage and optimize Apple device management using Jamf Pro: enrollment, configuration profiles, policies, packages, patching, app distribution, inventory reporting.• Manage and optimize Windows / cross-platform management using Microsoft Intune: Autopilot provisioning, compliance policies, configuration profiles, app deployment, update rings, device health monitoring.
• Establish device lifecycle standards: procurement readiness, provisioning, repairs, replacements, and secure decommissioning.
Endpoint Security & Compliance
• Partner with Security teams to implement and maintain endpoint security controls such as device compliance, disk encryption (BitLocker/FileVault), EDR onboarding, firewall configuration, secure baselines, and conditional access readiness.
• Drive vulnerability reduction via patching, configuration hardening, and endpoint security best practices.
• Ensure endpoints meet audit and compliance requirements (e.g., asset inventory accuracy, encryption reporting, compliance posture).
End-User Support (Windows + macOS + Microsoft Ecosystem)
• Provide L2/L3 support for end-user issues across Microsoft and Mac environments: Microsoft 365 apps, Outlook/Teams, OneDrive sync, VPN/Wi‑Fi, printing, certificates, SSO/MFA, device performance issues.
• macOS troubleshooting: profiles, keychain/cert issues, network connectivity, app deployment, OS upgrade issues.
• Windows troubleshooting: provisioning, updates, driver issues, policy conflicts, performance, app install failures.
• Own knowledge management: create/update KB articles, known error database, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Process, Tools & Continuous Improvement
• Operate within ITSM processes (Incident/Request/Change/Problem).
• Maintain operational dashboards and reporting: SLA attainment, MTTR, ticket trends, top repeat issues, patch compliance.
• Identify opportunities to automate (self-service, scripts, policy-driven remediation) and reduce repetitive ticke
Technical/ professional qualifications Technical (Must-have)
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Jamf integration (endpoint management).• Solid understanding of Endpoint Security concepts: encryption, compliance, secure configuration, EDR onboarding coordination, conditional access readiness.
• Proven troubleshooting expertise for Windows and macOS end-user issues in a corporate environment.
• Strong working knowledge of: Azure AD / Entra ID fundamentals (device identity, SSO/MFA basics), Microsoft 365 Apps/Teams/Outlook/OneDrive support, networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi, proxy), patch management and OS upgrade strategies.
