Role Description – Senior Software Engineer – Frontend Angular

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’re part of the platform team with a specialization on UI technologies. In this role, you will architect and build SPA Angular microfrontends that are an important part of our Cloud-products. You’ll help shaping a modern UI architecture in collaboration with your and other teams. The role is based in Pune.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive the evolution of the UI architecture towards an efficient consistent microfrontend based architecture that works also across teams
• Contribute to the implementation of frontends of Cloud-native applications that are important cornerstones of the company's strategy
• Identify and propose technical improvements proactively
• Present technical designs and facilitate decisions around them
• Contribute to a team atmosphere that fosters collaboration and innovation
• Take full ownership of your deliverables – including code-quality, performance and maintainability
• Communicate effectively, to stakeholders and within and outside your cross-cultural team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with modern frontend technologies, including standard frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js
• Proven, strong expertise in UI architectures including microfrontends.
• Ability to work through complex problems independently
• Track record of taking initiative on technical improvements
• Excellent communication and social skills and ability to work in an environment with open feedback
• Strong understanding of Angular architecture
• Proficient in Typescript, its concepts and API first principle for integration if RESTful APIs
• Expertise in UI unit test frameworks like Jest or Jasmine; ability to write useful unit tests
• Good working knowledge of CSS preprocessors and responsive design principles
• Ability to collaborate with other developers, e.g. full understanding of git workflow
