Your Day to Day:

 

  • You analyze functional and technical requirements, design solutions in close collaboration with the Product Owner, and proactively clarify and communicate dependencies and risks.
  • You take ownership of the technical design process, including creating and maintaining design documentation, performing impact analyses, and building proof of concepts to validate proposed solution
  • You break down user stories into actionable tasks, define realistic timelines, and deliver clean, efficient, and maintainable code. You keep documentation up to date and ensure solutions meet quality standards and are fully ready for production.
  • You actively participate in agile practices and ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement and helping the team deliver value iteratively and efficiently.
  • You collaborate closely across teams and actively drive initiatives at an organizational level. You mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and contribute to a strong engineering culture.


What makes you excel in this position:

 

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or you bring equivalent practical experience.
  • You have 3+ years of hands-on experience with ABAP Objects (ABAP‑OO), OData, and REST.
  • You are experienced in the design and development of business applications, with a strong focus on quality and scalability.
  • You have a proven track record in the implementation and provisioning of ABAP Cloud applications.
  • You are proficient in Core Data Services (CDS), including data modeling, CDS views, and business object design.
  • You have practical experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
  • You are comfortable working in an agile environment and have hands-on experience with Jira.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • You are familiar with SAP Clean Core principles (nice to have) and apply modern development best practices.
