About the Role

As a Software Engineer specializing in ABAP Cloud, you will design, develop, and deliver scalable business applications on SAP while following clean‑core principles. You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner, contribute to technical design decisions, and ensure high‑quality, production‑ready code within an Agile environment.

Salary Banding: 360,000 – 380,000 RON gross/year

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design solutions with the Product Owner, and identify dependencies.

• Lead and contribute to the technical design process, including documentation, impact analysis, and proof‑of‑concept creation.

• Break down user stories, estimate and plan implementation, write clean and efficient code, maintain documentation, and ensure production readiness.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement.

• Collaborate closely within the team, contribute to cross‑organizational initiatives, and mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements — What Makes a Candidate Excel

• SAPUI5 Freestyle and Fiori Elements expertise.

• Knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles.

• Proven experience in designing and developing business applications.

• Experience delivering ABAP Cloud applications.

• Strong hands‑on expertise with SAP ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).

• Skilled in defining and implementing managed and unmanaged behaviors.

• Proficient in CDS views, business objects, and Core Data Services data modeling.

• Fluent English; German is a plus.

• Experience working in Agile environments is an advantage.

Skills, Know‑How & Experience

• Experience building custom SAP Fiori applications from scratch.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

• ABAP OO, OData, REST.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Effective communicator and strong team player.
