About the Role:

Develop and implement a strategy with our senior leadership on how to best nurture a healthy pipeline of inbound and outbound leads for our EMEA Sales Team. You'll lead and manage a team of Business Developer Representatives while continuously spearheading projects to drive more effective internal collaboration.
As a Business Development Leader, your mission is to enable people and processes to best serve the sales team. You will lead initiatives that empower your team with the confidence, creativity, and perseverance required to generate a healthy lead pipeline. Your leadership will bridge the skills to build the next generation of the Serrala Sales Team.

 

Your Day to Day: 

  • Leadership - You'll be at the forefront of developing a high-performance winning culture and executing on the regional Sales Market Plan. We are looking for a sales-driven personality who has the innate desire to elevate their surroundings. You will evaluate, develop, and establish scalable team processes to meet targets.
  • Entrepreneurial - Always be on the lookout for opportunities to provide better service to our internal customers, the Sales Team members. These opportunities would include process improvements, efficiency-driven tools, knowledge boosts for the team, etc.
  • Cross-Cultural Mindset - The knack for tailoring your communication style towards diverse nationalities and skillsets.
  • Data-Driven - You have the analytical skills to draw multifaceted insights, visualize reporting for diverse stakeholders, and lead discussions with management on your team's deliverables.
  • Holistic Thinking - You listen closely, are willing to speak up, and naturally connect the conversations and people around you.

 

What makes you excel in this position: 

  • Proven Leadership Skills – 5+ years of experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Cross-Functional Communication – A demonstrated ability to bridge team objectives with senior leadership strategies.
  • Experience with Pipeline Strategies – Familiarity with lead generation, pipeline forecasting, and strategic planning in a fast-moving sales environment.
  • Multilingual Proficiency – Fluency in English & German is required. Additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Location Flexibility – Based in Barcelona, Hamburg, or London is preferred, with willingness to travel across the EMEA region as needed.
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking – You are comfortable interpreting complex data, forecasting trends, and applying insights to team strategy.
  • Adaptability & Resilience – Proven ability to motivate teams and maintain focus under pressure while solving challenges creatively.
