Meet the Team: The Commercial Sales Service role plays a vital part in supporting the sales team and ensuring the seamless execution of sales processes across the organisation. This position focuses on delivering comprehensive administrative assistance, precise data management, and proactive customer interaction to optimise sales operations. Key duties involve keeping detailed records, preparing service proposals for clients, managing CRM platforms, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance both team performance and client experience. 

 

Your day to day:

 

  •  Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers in a professional and timely manner, assisting with their questions and concerns.Work together with different internal teams to help address customer issues and contribute to their satisfaction. Assist in building and maintaining clear and trustworthy relationships with customers from the start of the contract process, including collecting necessary customer information and purchase orders.
  • Sales Assistance: Act as a contact point between customer service queries and the Global Support and Sales teams, supporting the preparation of service proposals and identifying possible upselling opportunities. Help the sales team with administrative duties such as processing orders, gathering purchase orders and CIF details, managing contracts, and preparing invoices.
  • Data Handling: Support regular updates and maintenance of the customer database to keep all information accurate and current.
  • Sales Document Support: Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing sales contracts, agreements, and other relevant documents, especially during contract renewals. Help ensure that all documents are complete, accurate, and comply with company policies and legal requirements.

 

What makes you excel in this position:

 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (advanced students preferred).
    Initial experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative tasks is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English are a plus, as well as interpersonal skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
  • Customer-oriented attitude combined with problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in sales processes and willingness to learn best practices in commercial after-sales operations.
